Childhood

This artist was the fourth of five children gowing up in the Westbrook Park Elementary area. Many artists strugle with slow development in structured education in their youth. Artistic ability was revealed from the elementary levels. Full scale portraits of the presidents adorned the halls of his elementary school, by his hand. Artistic mozaics and oils followed him through early years.

Teen

In 1967 the National Art Education Association announced the selection of The summer storm by Brian Manna to be part of the 21st International School Art Program Exhibition. This watercolor was displayed in Seoul, Korea. In 1972 he recieved the Elizabeth B. Kingsley Art Award for his conscientious use of time and materials; his constent desire to do his best and inspiration. Many awards and recognition were given this fine young artist throughout his high school years.

Advanced Education

Through his excellence in high school Brian Manna was awarded a scholarship to
Tyler School of Art, Temple University, one of the most prestigous art schools in the world. In 1974 Brian started BDM Design Associates and later moved to California. He has continued to marvel people throughout the community with his achievements.

Today

Many peple through their lives are quoted to be the
"Jack of all trades and the master of none."
This is far from reality when looking at this artist.

Manna's egg art Collectables are refreshing and exciting. Little is new in this fine art world and egg art is no exception. Yet these are true works of art, created by a fine artist. They have captured my imagination and I can't wait to see what each new year brings.
